What are the requirements to be eligible for food service?
Resident within the Gahanna-Jefferson School District or a resident in the 43230 zip code.
What do I need to bring on my first visit?
Each qualifying household must provide a photo ID and proof of residency in our service areas.
Do I need to bring my own bags?
You can if you prefer, otherwise, we will supply the bags, pack them for you and load into your car.
Is there a limit to how many visits a month/year I can make to the pantry?
Two visits per month.
What are the hours for the pantry?
Pantry Hours:
Every Tuesday, 6-8 PM (last shop thru 7:45, boxes of food given after that)
Every Wednesday, 10 AM-12 PM (last shop thru 11:45, boxes of food given after that)
Every Saturday, 9-11 AM (last shop thru 10:45, boxes of food given after that)
Monday, Thursday, Friday & Sunday, CLOSED
Do I need an appointment?
No. For your first visit, you will need:
A bill showing your name and address
Valid ID (Driver's License or State ID)
The number of people in your household
What type of foods do you hand out?
Fresh produce, milk, cheese, eggs, rice, beans, oatmeal/cereal, canned fruits and vegetables, pastas and meat.
I can’t make it to my pantry distribution. What can I do to get food if I can’t physically get there
Yes, we can deliver, but each case is vetted for need.
How much food will I get from the pantry?
We provide up to five days of food.
